Product documentation Product Introduction I2C cascaded extender is an extension module specifically designed to solve I2C bus device address conflicts. It has a built-in multiplexer switch that can expand an I2C host port into 8 independent I2C sub channels (4 PH2.0 interfaces and 4 pin headers). Through this module, users can connect multiple I2C sensors or devices with the same address (such as OLED displays) to the I2C bus of the same motherboard, and achieve separate addressing and communication, perfectly solving the problem of fixed address I2C devices not being able to be used in parallel. The module adopts PH2.0 anti reverse interface, which is plug and play and does not require welding. Its default I2C address is 0x74, and the I2C address can be adjusted within the range of 0x74 to 0x77 by configuring the contact points on the back of the module, greatly expanding the system's sensor access capability. It is very suitable for projects that require a large number of similar I2C devices, such as robots, environmental monitoring, and multi-sensor data acquisition.
