The FDROBOT D500 is a high-performance DTOF (Direct Time-of-Flight) laser ranging sensor designed for 360-degree omni-directional scanning. Engineered for robotics applications, this lidar scanner provides reliable distance measurement with a range of 0.03 to 12 meters. It features a scanning frequency of 10Hz and a ranging frequency of 5000Hz, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor navigation. The unit communicates via a UART interface and is compatible with ROS1 and ROS2 environments, with comprehensive SDK support available for Linux integration. Technical specifications include an ambient light tolerance of 60kLux, a 5V power requirement, and an operating temperature range of -10°C to 45°C. The compact 45g design ensures easy integration into various robotic platforms.
