The MC-38 is a normally closed (N/C) magnetic reed switch designed for proximity detection in home automation and security projects. The circuit remains closed when the magnet is distant and opens when the magnet is brought within the 15-25mm actuation range. Constructed from durable ABS plastic, this sensor is suitable for mounting on wooden doors or windows using screws or adhesive tape. It features a 100V DC rating and 10W power capacity, making it compatible with most microcontrollers and alarm systems.
