About this part
Analog gas sensor modules in four versions, each aimed at a different gas, for DIY kits and gas detector projects. Pick the MQ-2 for smoke and flammable gases, the MQ-3 for alcohol, the MQ-7 for carbon monoxide, or the MQ-135.
- MQ-2: smoke and flammable gases such as liquefied gas, butane, propane and methane, 300 to 10000 ppm
- MQ-3: alcohol (ethanol), 10 to 1000 ppm
- MQ-7: carbon monoxide, 10 to 1000 ppm
- MQ-2 and MQ-3 heaters run at 5.0V ±0.2V, drawing up to 180mA (900 mW)
- MQ-2 and MQ-3: response within 10 s, recovery within 30 s, for use from -20 to 55 °C
Use them for experiments and learning, not in place of a certified smoke or CO alarm.
