About this part
High-torque digital servos with metal gears and a dual-shaft output, for large DIY robot builds. The RDS series runs from a 17kg model up to 160kg, each in a 180 or 270 degree version.
- Models: RDS3115 (17kg), RDS3218 (20kg), RDS3225 (25kg), RDS3235 (35kg), RDS5160 (60kg), RDS5180 (80kg), RDS51150 (150kg) and RDS51160 (160kg)
- Travel: 180 or 270 degrees, chosen by option
- Control: PWM, 500 to 2500µs pulse width
- RDS3218 and RDS3225 control specs: 1500µs neutral, 3µs dead band, 50 to 330Hz signal
- Build: metal gears with a dual-shaft output
Give these servos their own power supply: the RDS3225 alone is rated to draw up to 2.9A at stall on 6.8V.
