About this part

A Usongshine starter kit for building a small CNC machine, engraver or other multi-axis stepper project. It brings together four NEMA 17 stepper motors, a driver for each one, a CNC Shield V3 and an UNO R3-compatible board, so the core motion electronics arrive together.

  • 4 x 17HS4401S NEMA 17 hybrid stepper motors: 2-phase, 1.8° step angle, 1.5A per phase
  • 4 x 4-pin motor cables, listed at 1m long
  • 4 x A4988 stepper drivers
  • 1 x CNC Shield V3
  • 1 x UNO R3-compatible board with a USB cable

The A4988 drivers plug into the CNC Shield V3, which sits on the UNO R3 board; the motors need their own power supply, and none is included in the kit.
