About this part
WitMotion's WT53R is a time-of-flight laser distance sensor built around the VL53L1X, measuring from 4 cm to 400 cm. It sends readings over TTL serial or RS485 Modbus and runs from a 5V to 36V supply.
- WT53R-TTL and WT53R-485 versions, both 4 to 400 cm
- Baud rate 2400 to 921600, 115200 by default
- Update rate 0.1 to 20 Hz, 20 Hz by default
- Working temperature -20 to 70°C; 61 x 22 mm, 50 g
- WTVL53-400 and WTVL53L0 modules and a USB-C test board are also offered
Choose the TTL version to wire straight to a microcontroller's serial pins, or the RS485 version to join an RS485 Modbus setup.
