About this part

An ESP32-based gateway module, the WT32-ETH01, with wired Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, made to pass serial data onto a network. It works as a TCP or UDP server or client, and it supports your own firmware if you want to develop on it.

  • Processor: dual-core 32-bit Xtensa LX6, 520KB SRAM, 32Mbit SPI flash
  • Ports: serial, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth, any two linked for transparent data pass-through
  • Network: IPv4 with TCP and UDP; serial baud rates from 80 to 5,000,000
  • Encryption: AES, RSA, ECC and SHA in software
  • Rated -40 to 85 °C, with a 5V supply
  • Pins: sold with header pins soldered on, or without

Firmware can be updated over the wired network or Wi-Fi, so you don't need to reach the module's serial pins for every update.
