About this part

A 2.4GHz wireless transceiver module based on the nRF24L01+, with a power amplifier (PA), a low-noise amplifier (LNA) and an external antenna added. It sends and receives data, so two of them give a pair of microcontroller projects a two-way radio link.

  • Supply: 3 to 3.6V
  • Output power: up to +20 dBm, with 20 dB PA gain and 10 dB LNA gain (2.6 dB noise figure)
  • Receive sensitivity: -92 dBm at 2 Mbps, -95 dBm at 1 Mbps, -104 dBm at 250 kbps
  • Current: 115 mA when transmitting, 45 mA when receiving
  • Antenna gain 2 dBi; operating range -20 to 70 °C

Power it from a 3.3V supply rather than a 5V pin, and make sure that supply can cover the 115 mA it draws while transmitting.
