Cables, connectors and the small power parts that tie a build together. Battery and power connectors include XT30, XT60 and anti-spark XT90 plugs, SB50 Anderson-style connectors, GX12 and GX16 aviation connectors and 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC barrel pigtails. Signal wiring covers JST SM and JST-SH cables, STEMMA QT and Qwiic leads, Micro-Fit housings, ribbon cable and stepper motor cables, with u.FL-to-SMA pigtails and LoRa antennas for radio modules.
On the USB side there are USB-C breakout boards, PD trigger boards and cables that ask a USB-C charger for 9, 12 or 20 V, a fast-charging module, a 27 W USB-C supply for the Raspberry Pi 5, a micro HDMI cable, SATA-to-USB adapters, and Cat5e Ethernet cables with RJ45 pass-through plugs. Heat shrink tubing, ring lugs and silicone wire finish the joints. Match each connector's current rating and wire gauge to the load before you crimp or solder it.

Check both ends and what the cable has to carry. Some USB cables only charge, and programming a board needs one that carries data. For HDMI, match the connector (standard, mini or micro, as on the Raspberry Pi 4 and 5) and the resolution you need. For networks, Cat5e handles gigabit Ethernet.
USB-C cables are rated by current: a 3 A cable suits most devices, and carrying 5 A needs an electronically marked cable. For wire, the gauge (AWG) sets how much current it can carry, and a smaller number means a thicker wire. Silicone insulation stays flexible and tolerates soldering heat; PVC is stiffer.
Use solid-core wire on breadboards and stranded wire anywhere it flexes, such as inside a robot. Match crimp terminals to both the wire gauge and the crimping tool. For hubs and adapters, check the USB version: a USB 2.0 hub will slow a USB 3 drive down.
