About this part

An adjustable step-down (buck) converter module built on the XL4015. It takes 8 to 36V DC in and puts out anywhere from 1.25 to 32V, and it can hold either a constant voltage or a constant current, so you can bring a battery or adapter down to the voltage a project needs or cap the current going to a load.

  • Input: 8-36V DC
  • Output: 1.25-32V, with current adjustable up to 5A
  • Non-isolated, non-synchronous design switching at 180kHz
  • Efficiency up to 95%; output ripple 50mV at most
  • Load regulation ±0.5%, voltage regulation ±2.5%
  • Size: 52 x 26.5 x 14mm; rated for -40 to +85°C

Two module versions are offered. Set and check the output voltage with a multimeter before you connect your load.
